Wade Cline's paintings have been a favorite of San Diego collectors for almost 40 years.  His work is defined by his  deft ability to capture the atmosphere of the city at those times of day when the bright sun doesn't blind us;  the mornings of soft gray skies and the gold and purple twilight time.

His paintings were among the first of the local urban landscape we came to know and we soon realized that he clearly had a loyal following because every time we told someone about the wonderful painter we discovered who did street scenes they would say, “Oh yes, Wade Cline, I have a piece by him.  I love his work.” 

And so it went for years.  We had bought two pieces by Wade before we ever met him.
