Marianela de la Hoz & Tasha Rae Tatro met in the gallery during a recent group show and immediately began discussing this collaboration.  "I've been collecting vintage silver lockets for a while now, and thinking of just such a project" says Tasha. For Marianela, the metal artist's delicate tracery and elegant designs seemed like handwriting, evoking the narrative which always lies behind the imagery in her own work.

Showcasing the collaboration, and the way each artist inspired the other,there are works created by de la Hoz for the vintage lockets and jewelry as well as new works in silver created by Tasha specifically reacting to the paintings of de la Hoz. Additionally, a selection of paintings, drawings and sculpture
by Marianela de la Hoz and unique hand forged jewelry and sculpture by Tasha Rae Tatro will be on display.
